About The Position
Budtender – High Point Cannabis FIRST PRIORITY TO PGST MEMBERS Love cannabis culture, connecting with people, and working in a fast-paced environment? High Point Cannabis is looking for outgoing, dependable, and knowledgeable Budtenders to join our team. We're looking for someone who brings positive energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping customers find the right products for their needs. At High Point, our Budtenders are more than just sales associates - they are the face of our brand and play a huge role in creating a welcoming, educated, and memorable experience for every guest who walks through our doors.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong knowledge of cannabis products and strains
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain professionalism at all times
- Experience with retail POS systems and cash handling
- Ability to work flexible/open availability scheduling
Nice To Haves
- Previous cannabis dispensary experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth, professionalism, and product knowledge
- Help customers navigate products, strains, and recommendations confidently
- Ensure High Point remains compliant with all company policies, procedures, and state regulations
- Support the team by keeping the sales floor clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
- Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently
- Perform accurate cash handling, balancing, and cash drops
- Assist in maintaining inventory organization and overall store presentation
- Represent the High Point brand in a positive, professional, and team-oriented way
- Contribute to a fun, welcoming, and knowledgeable environment for both customers and coworkers
