About The Position

We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Budtenders to join our team at 210 Cannabis Co. In this role, you will welcome customers, share your firsthand cannabis knowledge, and help match customers with products that best suit their needs. The ideal candidate is approachable, eager to learn, and comfortable discussing strains, effects, and consumption methods, driven by a genuine interest in cannabis. 210 Cannabis Co. is a tribal-owned, non-i502 retail cannabis dispensary committed to building a positive, respectful, and upbeat company culture.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required or be willing to obtain one within a two year period.
Must successfully pass a background check.
Must be available to work weekends and nights.
Basic money counting abilities.
Ability to receive and comply with verbal directives.
Ability to interact in a positive demeanor under pressure conditions.
Ability to adapt to fluctuating levels of customer service requests.
Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Candidates with open availability strongly preferred.
Candidates must be able to work 8-hour shifts.
While this is a part-time position, candidates must be available to work nights and weekends, so we can build a consistent and flexible schedule together.

Responsibilities

Follows compliance with register operations policies and procedures.
Ensures compliance for age restricted sales.
Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research.
Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and accurately maintain all cash and paperwork at the registers.
Communicate customer requests to management.
Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked.
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Stay compliant with established store policies and standards, such as safekeeping funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record-keeping procedures.
Performs all other duties assigned by Management.
