About The Position

Green Dragon is a growing cannabis retailer with a production facility and stores throughout Florida. The Budtender promotes a positive, customer service-oriented work environment while following established policies and procedures. This in-person role supports customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and using product knowledge to improve each customer’s in-store experience. The Budtender also helps keep the store compliant, well-merchandised, clean, and well-stocked.

Requirements

Customer service experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail.
Reliable, punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to work 8-hour day and night shifts, plus weekends and holidays as needed.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening and obtain fingerprints within 72 hours of receiving an offer letter.
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.
Reliable transportation to the store.

Nice To Haves

Sales experience in a retail store environment is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in customers in a friendly, welcoming manner and provide excellent service.
Assist customers in the store and over the phone, and accurately process online orders.
Encourage sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
Use the POS system accurately and follow cash handling, safe audit, and change drop procedures.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain an understanding of the training and compliance binder.
Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure signage, price tickets, and marketing materials are visible and up to date.
Keep the store clean, neat, and well-stocked, and complete general housekeeping duties.
Contribute to a positive, customer-focused work environment.
