The Budget Manager is responsible for and oversees all aspects of budget formulation, execution, analysis, and reporting, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficiency within the organization. Reporting to the Deputy CFO, the Budget Manager leads the entire budgetary process, including formulation of templates, execution, program budgeting, upload to ERP, and analysis, to enhance fiscal responsibility and accountability. This role involves close collaboration with internal departmental stakeholders to develop comprehensive spending plans, providing expert guidance on budget formulation and execution to non-financial teams, and preparing detailed budget requests for Senior management. The manager will monitor expenditures, conduct reviews of staffing numbers, and prepare analytical reports for decision-making processes. Additionally, the role includes preparing specific monthly reports for funders, training Departmental Heads, creating financial reports and dashboards, and developing standardized budgeting procedures. The incumbent may also be asked to perform additional duties as needed.
