About The Position

D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., was founded in 1978 and is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. It is engaged in the construction and sale of high quality homes designed principally for the entry-level and first time move-up markets. The Company also provides mortgage financing and title services for homebuyers through its mortgage and title subsidiaries. D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Budget Coordinator for their Main Office Department. The right candidate will be responsible for coordinating budgets and purchase orders.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create a structured cost budget for each home based on basic bids, contract pricing and upgraded item processing
  • Run each home with options and item numbers in different cost codes to create report of overall profit for production of each job
  • Use report for true cost of goods to ensure PMI is high and resources are high quality
