The College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences (CLASS) at Cal Poly Pomona is seeking a Budget Analyst II. This role is crucial for managing the financial operations of the college, which comprises eleven academic departments and seven centers/programs. The college offers a range of bachelor's and master's degrees and serves a significant number of full-time equivalent students each semester. The Dean's office oversees all academic personnel, resources, and activities, including academic and budgetary matters, and acts as the primary liaison between higher administration and the departments. The Budget Analyst will be responsible for analyzing fiscal impacts, advising leadership on fund availability, developing financial models, administering operating accounts, preparing budget reports, and supporting the college's all-funds budgeting process. Additionally, the role involves managing enterprise and philanthropic accounts, serving as a liaison with various campus offices, and providing fiscal support for departments, units, and faculty, including new faculty start-up funds and travel coordination.
