About The Position
The City of Roseville is seeking a Budget Analyst I/II to join the Budget Team in the Finance Department. This role is crucial for maintaining the City's fiscal health, ensuring effective resource allocation for residents and essential programs. Requirements
- Budget Analyst I: Three years of professional financial, accounting, or budget experience.
- Budget Analyst II: Two years of professional experience performing duties similar to a Budget Analyst I with the City of Roseville or in an organization-wide budget analyst capacity performing complex financial analysis.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating, preparing, and monitoring a financial plan including operating and capital budgets.
- Providing technical assistance and recommendations to departments regarding budget development and monitoring.
- Researching, analyzing, and reviewing complex financial data.
