About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for directing crew members, managing equipment, and ensuring safe and professional task execution. The role involves daily reporting, customer interaction, overseeing equipment and material usage, and maintaining customer relations. The Bucket Foreperson also assists in personnel management and record-keeping.

Requirements

Two years’ experience in Vegetation Management.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Meets and demonstrates qualifications of all positions on a crew.
Ability to read and understand contract requirements.
Knowledge of botanical and common names of trees and plants.
Experience in safe operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
Possess a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Must meet I-9 requirements.
Must meet E-Verify requirements.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries.

Responsibilities

Direct crew members and manage equipment each day.
Plan, assign, and execute specific tasks in a safe and professional manner.
Supervise crew performance.
Perform daily reporting using AMS system to submit timesheets and billing information.
Notify private property owners of presence on property and obtain permission for work.
Discuss issues such as access, power interruption, and work scope with customers and property owners.
Oversee equipment and material usage, and cleanup.
Ensure all equipment and supplies are secure on the truck.
Assist in personnel management.
Keep accurate records of time, equipment, and material used.
Maintain above standard customer relations.
Report accidents.
Delegate work and take accountability for the performance of a crew.
Read and understand contract requirements.
Adjust to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision.
