BlueForce Inc. is seeking candidates with Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) experience to support the Bomber Squadron Operations at multiple locations within Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) including Barksdale AFB, LA; Minot AFB, ND; Whiteman AFB, MO; Dyess AFB, TX; and Ellsworth AFB, SD. This position is subject to contract award. The role involves managing the Wing/Ops Group EFB Program in accordance with AFGSCI 11-270 and Baseline Configuration announcements, serving as the Wing/Group EFB manager and liaison with the AFGSC EFB Program Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and up-to-date EFB Manager appointment letters, performing maintenance, upgrades, patching, and restoration functions, and managing administrative access to various EFB management consoles and software. The position requires coordination with technical order distribution officers, squadron EFB managers, and Stan/Eval representatives to ensure all EFB standalone computers have appropriate and up-to-date electronic publications and Flight Information Publications (FLIP). This includes Technical Orders, Currency of Directives, Flight Crew Information Files (FCIF), and Special Interest Items. The role also involves managing flight publications across digital platforms, updating EUSAs, and informing aircrew of updates. System administration using BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management Software (BBUEM) or future designated MDM software is a key responsibility, including configuring, tracking, issuing, resetting, updating, and maintaining the EFB program at a Wing level, managing user accounts, tracking lost or stolen EFBs, and ensuring unit compliance through device audits. Management of the Foreflight administration account, including adding/deleting accounts and educating subordinate managers, is also required. The position entails managing commercial internet services for EFB connectivity, acting as the primary contact with internet service providers (ISPs), and coordinating repairs. Additionally, the role involves working with the Resource Advisor to establish sustainment costs and maintain inventory of EFB equipment, serving as the equipment custodian, and managing the decommissioning of obsolete equipment. Distribution and inventory of hardware refresh EFB equipment, enrollment into AFGSC’s Device Enrollment Program (DEP) and MDM software, and identifying/addressing EFB requirements and concerns are also part of the duties. Monitoring tech releases and iOS software updates, utilizing Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for program management and communication, and engaging in future EFB capability discussions are expected. The role requires generating EFB Audit Reports and EFB Sustainment Reports, as well as conducting Stan Eval specific administrative duties.
