The BSA Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for managing the daily aspects of the Bank’s QA Team within the BSA Department. This role ensures the Bank's compliance with laws and regulations and requires sufficient knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) controls and suspicious activity reporting. The position collaborates with other areas within the BSA Department and all business units throughout the Bank, providing advisement, regulatory interpretation, and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a strong understanding of BSA/AML Compliance. The BSA QA Manager is tasked with ensuring the QA team operates effectively and efficiently by providing leadership, training, assistance, and supervision. This includes performing direct supervisory duties, coordinating coverage, and managing performance of assigned department staff.
