About The Position
Cyprus Credit Union is looking for a BSA Analyst who enjoys digging deeper, asking questions, and connecting the dots. In this role, you'll investigate suspicious activity, identify potential fraud and financial crimes, and help ensure the credit union remains compliant with regulatory requirements. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two or more years of credit union or financial institution experience required
- Two or more years of BSA/AML experience, including alert investigations and SAR preparation
- Working knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, including SAR and CTR requirements
Nice To Haves
- Some college coursework is preferred
- Experience with BSA monitoring systems such as Verafin, Abrigo, or similar platforms preferred
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, CFCS, or CBSAP are a plus
Responsibilities
- Investigating alerts and suspicious activity
- Documenting findings
- Preparing SARs and CTRs
- Conducting customer due diligence reviews
- Monitoring higher-risk relationships
- Working closely with team members across the credit union to identify concerns, mitigate risk, and support overall BSA/AML compliance efforts
