Requirements

Associate's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
1-3 years in a financial institution, specifically within BSA/AML compliance (highly preferred).
Familiarity with key regulations and requirements such as BSA, AML, OFAC, CIP, CDD/EDD, and SAR/CTR.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to analyze complex information and present it succinctly.

Responsibilities

Uphold the Bank’s adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations.
Risk identification and control assessment.
Internal monitoring reviews.
Training initiatives.
Leverage Verafin for day-to-day operations, managing alerts, conducting research, and filing necessary government documents.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures.
Actively participate in BSA activities including suspicious activity investigations and audit preparations.
Support colleagues in understanding and navigating BSA/AML processes.
Adapt to the evolving needs of the bank.
