About The Position

The BSA Analyst at One Community Bank is a vital member of our compliance team, working closely with the BSA/AML/OFAC Sanctions Officer to uphold the Bank’s adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations. This dynamic role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including risk identification and control assessment, internal monitoring reviews, and training initiatives. You will leverage Verafin for day-to-day operations, managing alerts, conducting research, and filing necessary government documents. Additionally, you will assist in the development of policies and procedures, while actively participating in BSA activities including suspicious activity investigations and audit preparations. As a trusted resource, you will support your colleagues in understanding and navigating BSA/AML processes, ensuring that everyone at One Community Bank is equipped to meet compliance requirements effectively. Flexibility in tasks allows you to adapt to the evolving needs of the bank, making each day engaging and impactful.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a financial institution, specifically within BSA/AML compliance.
  • Familiarity with key regulations and requirements such as BSA, AML, OFAC, CIP, CDD/EDD, and SAR/CTR.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and present it succinctly.
