This role is for Tulsa, OK only. The BSA/AML Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising, training, and developing a team of BSA/AML Investigation Specialist I employees responsible for the review, analysis, and disposition of alerts and activities associated with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR), exemption monitoring, and related regulatory requirements. This position provides leadership, technical expertise, and operational oversight to ensure alerts, referrals, and regulatory processes are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. This position supervises day-to-day workflow, supports employee development, monitors quality and productivity, assists with operational reporting, and contributes to system testing, process improvements, and control enhancements within assigned BSA/AML operational areas. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and 5+ years of experience in BSA/AML compliance, OFAC compliance, financial crimes operations, suspicious activity monitoring, or related financial services experience; or 10+ years of equivalent directly related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required to obtain the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification within the first 12 months of employment and recertify every three years thereafter in accordance with ACAMS requirements.
A minimum of two hours of continuing education is required each month on industry-related topics or technical skills related to the role.
Thorough knowledge of BSA, AML, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act, and related regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of OFAC screening processes, sanctions compliance, CTR requirements, CTR exemptions, and suspicious activity identification.
Strong leadership, coaching, employee development, analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational procedures and controls.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting audits, examinations, quality reviews, and regulatory inquiries.
Ability to leverage AI, automation, and advanced technology to enhance analysis, decision‑making, and efficiency, while applying sound professional judgment and accountability for outcomes.
Comfort working with data, automated outputs, and digital tools to interpret information, identify patterns or emerging risks, and support clear, well‑reasoned conclusions.
Understanding of responsible AI principles, including appropriate use, limitations, transparency, and the importance of human oversight in risk‑based decisions.
Ability to identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and risk insights through automation and new technologies, while maintaining alignment with risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

Lead – Coach, develop, and support a team while managing daily investigative workloads, priorities, and deadlines to ensure timely and accurate case resolution.
Guide – Provide expertise on sanctions screening, suspicious activity monitoring, regulatory requirements, and investigative best practices to support informed decision-making.
Review – Evaluate complex cases and determine the appropriate investigative actions, escalation paths, and risk-based resolutions.
Maintain – Support effective controls, procedures, and monitoring practices that promote regulatory compliance and operational integrity.
Assist – Partner with internal stakeholders during audits, regulatory examinations, and corrective action initiatives to address compliance requirements and identified risks.
Support – Participate in system enhancements, user testing, and technology implementations to improve operational effectiveness and user experience.
Leverage – Utilize data, AI, and technology tools to enhance investigative analysis, strengthen decision-making, and improve operational efficiency.
Apply – Exercise sound judgment and responsible AI practices when evaluating risk, conducting investigations, and supporting compliance-related decisions.
Improve – Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance workflows, and drive continuous improvement across investigative operations.
Collaborate – Work closely with business partners, compliance teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of regulatory and organizational objectives.
