Zions Bancorporation is seeking a BSA/AML Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst to join their team. This is a remote position that can be located in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, or Texas. The role is responsible for BSA/AML investigative operations and applying BSA and USA PATRIOT Act requirements to daily activities. The analyst will analyze high-risk client activity for potential suspicious activity related to illegal activities such as money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud, leveraging multiple sources for determinations. They will present logical, well-supported conclusions for customer assessments, understand and apply knowledge of BSA/AML typologies, and identify red flags and current trends of suspicious activity. The position involves communicating with retail and business line staff to gather client information, writing clear and concise communications to support conclusions, and meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements and Quality Assurance performance levels. The analyst will be responsible for multiple review-types of varying complexity, understanding and tracking each client due for review, and documenting reviews in the case management system. They will assess complex customer relationships, including those across multiple accounts, and prepare accurate and timely documentation of factual findings. Communication with retail and business line management for research, investigation, and escalation is also a key responsibility, along with compiling data and maintaining records for reporting. The role includes making recommendations for relationship disengagement to management or risk officers and meeting SLAs for scheduled reviews. Other duties as assigned.
