About The Position

The Brow Waxing Expert (Arch Expert) maximizes sales for the Benefit brand by engaging guests, identifying their needs, helping them select and purchase merchandise, and performing short beauty services. Services include eyebrow and facial waxing and tinting, along with other Brow Bar services. The role represents the Benefit brand to Ulta Beauty guests and supports the Experience Manager by focusing on sales and service performance, guest service, and compliance with operating procedures and standards. An active cosmetology or esthetics license is required where required by law. The position also contributes to store sales and guest loyalty, builds an active clientele, participates in ongoing brand and company training, maintains the Brow Bar and other assigned areas, and follows safety, sanitation, hygiene, and loss-prevention procedures. The schedule is flexible and includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Cosmetology or esthetics license where required by state law.
Proficiency with equipment needed to perform technical work.
Demonstrated competency in sales, products, and services.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to handle guest concerns positively and proactively and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Attend brand-sponsored trainings.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma.
Experience in makeup application, eyebrow and facial waxing, tweezing, and eyebrow tinting.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed Benefit brand sales and service goals and contribute to store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
Greet and engage guests, personalize service, and recommend complementary products, samples, and services.
Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations.
Perform Brow Bar services, including eyebrow and facial waxing, tweezing, eyebrow tinting, strip lash applications, and threading, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Book initial and return appointments and event appointments using the appointment book or system.
Meet average sales per labor hour and sales-to-service ratio goals.
Stay informed about industry trends, products, services, ingredients, and benefits during work time.
Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
Support an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in Benefit and Ulta Beauty training, team meetings, training parties, and brand and category education.
Build and maintain customer relationships and an active clientele portfolio for Benefit brand services.
Maintain relationships with Benefit brand partners by participating in required trainings and executing in-store events and promotions.
Partner with Prestige consultants and salon professionals to promote teamwork and customer service.
Promote the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app.
Collaborate with store managers and associates to help grow the business.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and state board guidelines, including safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements.
Follow the Ulta Beauty and Benefit brand dress code, including wearing brand assets as directed.
Keep the Brow Bar and assigned areas replenished, signed, faced, clean, and guest-ready; maintain testers according to hygiene standards.
Communicate supply needs promptly to store management and brand representatives.
Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory, and shipment processing using brand and company technology and best practices.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks and assigned duties.
