Yachad helps these individuals participate more fully in Jewish life and the broader society by providing educational, employment, and relationship opportunities. The Orthodox Union (OU) is one of the largest Orthodox Jewish organizations in the United States. Founded in 1898, the OU supports a network of synagogues, youth programs, Jewish and Religious Zionist advocacy programs, programs for the disabled, localized religious study programs, and international units. The OU maintains a kosher certification service, whose circled U symbol, Ⓤ, is found on the labels of many kosher commercial and consumer food products. Position Summary: The Yachad Brooklyn Program and Outreach Director is responsible for leading a defined portfolio of Yachad programming focused on younger participants, school partnerships, and overnight programming. This role provides end-to-end ownership of assigned programs, including program execution, participant support, staff supervision, and partnership development. The Program and Outreach Director works in close partnership with a Brooklyn Program Director to jointly lead city-wide programming while maintaining clear responsibility for their program portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role that includes weekday, weekend, and overnight commitments.
