About The Position

The Brokerage Consultant provides subject matter expertise to engage clients and prospects through discovery of their unique needs and to match those needs with appropriate tools, resources, service models and value. Key objectives include acquisition, retention, revenue growth and driving customer delight through client engagement to grow the Brokerage business. Brokerage Consultants are responsible for acquiring external assets from competitor firms while fostering client retention and strengthening existing relationships with Fidelity. They provide timely subject matter expertise regarding market updates, promotional offerings, product enhancements, and changes within Fidelity's brokerage platform; additionally, they engage with a diverse client base across the retail investment spectrum, ranging from novice investors to sophisticated active traders, tailoring guidance to meet individual needs. Finally, brokerage consultants identify opportunities to deepen client relationships by connecting clients with specialized experts and service models, including Wealth Management and Premium Brokerage solutions, to support their evolving financial goals.

Requirements

  • Extensive sales experience in the financial services industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of equity and option markets, including market mechanics.
  • Experience in trading strategy development and position management.
  • Series 7 and 63 certifications.
  • Fidelity Relationship Model skills to connect, discover and present our value based on client opportunity.
  • Negotiation skills across margin, options and competitive offers.
  • Subject matter expertise (SME) across independent investment vehicles: Equities, ETF’s, Options, Funds, Crypto and Alternative Investments.
  • Subject matter expertise (SME) on market mechanics, technical analysis, and fundamental analysis.
  • Deep level of knowledge on Fidelity’s brokerage offering, including research, resources and tools applicable to independent strategy management.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire external assets from competitor firms.

  • Carry out sales strategies and tactics specifically related to Fidelity’s brokerage business.
  • Support national brokerage initiatives and foster collaborative relationships with various business partners.
