Brokerage Analyst – Settlement Support

About The Position

The Clearing and Settlements Support Analyst provides a very broad range of support functions to correspondents and registered investment advisor clients of Green Pier Fintech LLC. The role requires efficiently applying knowledge and experience to the problem or task at hand, while having an appreciation of the impact decisions may have on other partners (i.e., customers, downstream systems, external parties, etc.). In support of the various clients, the analyst will work closely with other operational departments and technology personnel to achieve straight through processing while minimizing risk, exposure, and errors.

Requirements

2-4 years brokerage trading, operations, and/or service experience
Series 7 or 99 (or the ability to obtain within 180 days)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required: ability to independently create VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, formulas, and macros
Attention to detail and high level of precision when executing procedures
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate with autonomy and manage work independently
Capable of quickly learning operating systems and processes

Nice To Haves

VBA experience is a plus
