About The Position

This role is responsible for working directly with retail brokers and carrier partners to place new and renewal business, develop coverage solutions, negotiate terms, and deliver strong execution from submission through binding. We will count on you to build and maintain strong relationships with retail brokers, underwriters, and internal teammates. You will review submissions, assess exposures, and develop placement strategy. Market accounts to appropriate carriers and negotiate pricing, terms, conditions, retentions, sublimits, and coverage enhancements. Analyze quotes, binders, policies, exclusions, and endorsements, and communicate key coverage differences clearly and effectively. Develop solutions for Cyber, Professional Liability, and Management Liability risks, including more complex or difficult-to-place opportunities. Support accounts from submission through binding, including follow-up on subjectivities and documentation. Stay current on market conditions, underwriting appetite, and emerging trends impacting Cyber and Professional Liability insurance. Help grow the business by strengthening broker relationships and contributing to new business and retention efforts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial or professional lines insurance experience.
  • Active P&C license , or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Strong coverage knowledge with the ability to analyze and compare forms, endorsements, and policy terms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Cyber, Professional Liability, Management Liability, or related specialty lines preferred.
  • Wholesale brokerage, E&S, or underwriting experience strongly preferred.
