About The Position

Humana is seeking a passionate Broker Relationship Manager (BRM) to join their team and contribute to the well-being of the Medicare population. This role plays an integral and strategic part in the overall success of the team, managing resources to achieve sales growth, improve results, and meet operational goals within an assigned market, while also coordinating on a national level. The BRM will maintain and support external field sales resources (Agents, Agencies, and Partners), develop external market engagement and sales strategy in coordination with leadership and sales teams, and work closely with other BRMs to ensure a consistent Agent experience across all markets. Requirements

  • Ability to have almost daily face to face interactions with field sales resources
  • Active Health Insurance license within the stated region OR ability and willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • 5+ years of sales experience (B2B, B2C)
  • Prior experience using CRM tools, Sales/Marketing Resources, Microsoft Office with proficiency in TEAMS, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
  • Must reside or be willing to relocate to the assigned region (San Diego, CA)
  • This position requires approximately 50% or more travel with some overnight stays

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of sales experience in the Medicare industry
  • Prior experience with public speaking and presentations
  • Prior background as an insurance broker or independent agent
  • Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in both English and Spanish without limitations or assistance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior Sales leadership experience leading and training a team of sales associates, utilize technology tools and building relationships with communities and medical providers

Responsibilities

  • Manage all available resources to help achieve sales growth, improve results and operational goals within the assigned market.
  • Coordinate on a national level.
  • Maintain and support all external field sales resources within the market (individual Agents, Agencies, and Partners).
  • Develop external market engagement and sales strategy in coordination with the Director, local markets, tele-sales executives and account executives, including all sales support.
  • Work closely with other BRM’s to support national and regional Partners to ensure there is a consistent Agent experience in all markets.
  • Have almost daily face to face interactions with field sales resources.
