About The Position

The Broker Product Analyst will have a complete understanding and thorough knowledge of mortgage products and pricing, as well as the ability to effectively read and understand mortgage underwriting guidelines and rate sheets. This role involves reviewing, researching, and responding to product inquiries and guidelines through a Scenario Desk environment, managing the Broker Scenario Desk inbox, and responding to inquiries from internal and external customer groups in a timely manner. The analyst will stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to position New American Funding as a leader. Responsibilities also include assisting the Product Development Team with new product implementations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and creating, updating, implementing, and maintaining all broker product guidelines and eligibility requirements.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities, effective time management.
  • Strong analytical skills: effective decision-making with the ability to appropriately exercise independent judgment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as effectively function as a member of the Product Development Team.

  • Assist Product Development Team with execution of new product implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with New American Fundings policies, processes, and practices.
  • Create, update, implement and maintain all broker product guidelines and eligibility requirements.
