About The Position

The Broker Product Analyst will possess a comprehensive understanding of mortgage products and pricing, along with the ability to interpret mortgage underwriting guidelines and rate sheets. This role involves reviewing, researching, and responding to product inquiries and guidelines within a Scenario Desk environment. The analyst will manage the Broker Scenario Desk inbox, ensuring timely responses to internal and external customers. A key aspect of the role is staying informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to maintain New American Funding's leadership position. The analyst will also support the Product Development Team in new product implementations, ensure compliance with company policies, and create, update, and maintain all broker product guidelines and eligibility requirements.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products, and underwriting guidelines.
• Will consider experienced processor/ jr. underwriter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities, effective time management.
• Strong analytical skills: effective decision-making with the ability to appropriately exercise independent judgment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and people skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as effectively function as a member of the Product Development Team.

Responsibilities

• Have a complete understanding and thorough knowledge of mortgage products and pricing, as well as to effectively read and understand mortgage underwriting guidelines and rate sheets.
• Review, research, and respond to product inquiries and product guidelines, questions, through a Scenario Desk environment.
• Manage Broker Scenario Desk inbox and respond to inquiries from all internal and external customer groups within a timely manner.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to position New American Funding as a leader and industry expert.
• Assist Product Development Team with execution of new product implementations.
• Ensure compliance with New American Fundings policies, processes, and practices.
• Create, update, implement and maintain all broker product guidelines and eligibility requirements.
