About The Position

Broistas are the foundation of Dutch Bros Coffee's culture, upholding the fundamental philosophy of 'love all, serve all.' This role involves engaging with customers, educating them about the menu and specials, and embodying the company's culture, which emphasizes relationships over just selling beverages. Consistency in speed, quality, and service is key, as is maintaining a positive and reliable presence. Broistas are expected to be team players, adaptable, and people-focused, radiating kindness and positivity.

Requirements

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as laid out in the Mafia Manifesto and Employee Handbook.
  • Be on time.
  • Ensure you have reliable transportation and can be on time for scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.
  • Obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit or Certification as required by state or local regulations.
  • Complete, pass, and maintain trainings, certifications, and knowledge tests.
  • English proficiency (written, oral, and verbal) is required.
  • Mental math skills may be required for handling cash.

  • Other language fluency is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and thank each customer with a smile and provide them with their moment of special.
  • Help customers learn the menu, different products, and current specials.
  • Ensure the customer gets exactly what they ordered.
  • Show up to work on time and ready to go.
  • Communicate availability needs and follow proper call out procedures.
  • Support teammates as needed.
  • Be generous through the window.
  • Participate in the tips pool after completing and passing Broista training.
