About The Position
As a Broadcast Technician I, you will help ensure the reliable operation of EWTN’s broadcast systems, supporting programming that reaches audiences around the world. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to the quality and consistency of EWTN’s mission-driven broadcasts.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in broadcast television or a related field, or one year as a Broadcast Technician Trainee.
- Analytical, organized, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
- Physically able to meet the demands of the role.
- Comfortable working flexible hours.
- Proficient with basic computer applications.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with production equipment such as routers, intercoms, and patch panels.
- Knowledge of the Catholic faith and an affinity for EWTN’s mission.
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside Broadcast Engineers and Level II Technicians to maintain, repair, and operate broadcast and production equipment.
- Assist with setting up and monitoring live events with minimal supervision.
- Follow required safety and technical standards.
- Support daily broadcast operations, including work during mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
