About The Position

The Broadcast Operations & Engineering team, part of DTC, Product Operations and Technology Team, is at the core of delivering the NBA’s live game experiences and media content to fans and partners worldwide. Our mission is to ensure the highest standards of reliability, quality, and innovation in the production and distribution of NBA content across all platforms. We oversee the end-to-end production and distribution of NBA content—from live game capture and signal acquisition to encoding, transmission, and global delivery—ensuring reliability, quality, and scalability for hundreds of live events each season. Our engineering expertise supports traditional broadcast partners while enabling advanced streaming solutions for fans in over 215 markets. This oversight occurs within the physical offices, or across our portfolio of global events. Beyond broadcast, we drive innovation in digital products and services, including personalized viewing experiences, interactive features, and community engagement. Our team collaborates across disciplines to integrate emerging technologies such as cloud-based production, IP workflows, and automation into both broadcast and digital ecosystems. Looking ahead, AI will be a transformative force across all projects and disciplines—from optimizing live production workflows and enhancing video quality to powering personalization, predictive analytics, and new fan engagement models. By combining technical precision with creative flexibility, we aim to redefine how fans experience NBA content, whether through broadcast, streaming, or immersive digital platforms.
