About The Position

This position is responsible for the BOC functions assigned by the BOC Supervisor. Position functions may include ingesting and preparation of program materials, input of and execution of traffic logs for assigned services and monitoring all services and network operating conditions. It requires communication with the local stations and proper annotations of any deviation of the station logs. Reporting to the BOC Supervisor, this position is additionally responsible for working with engineering, traffic, and news departments to ensure that quality is consistently maintained among all services. Requirements

At least one year of experience
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift equipment as necessary
Ability to operate computers, broadcast equipment, cameras, editing systems, and other newsroom technology
Pre-employment drug screening required
Background check required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

One year of prior experience in television master control operations is preferred.
