About The Position

We are seeking a Broadcast Multi-Skilled Operator to join our team and support the operation and maintenance of production systems, broadcast spaces, and supporting technologies at Riot Games’ Remote Broadcast Center (RBC). In this role, you will report to the Production Lead and collaborate closely with engineering, production, and broadcast teams to support live esports broadcasts and studio productions. If successful, you will be assigned to Project Stryker, Riot Games’ Remote Broadcast Center supporting global esports broadcasts. You will contribute to productions featuring major Riot Games titles including League of Legends, Wild Rift, and VALORANT, working with some of the most advanced remote broadcast technology in the world. This position is based in Des Moines, Washington.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in esports, live events, or broadcast operations.
  • Working knowledge of Riot Games titles, including League of Legends and VALORANT.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, detail-oriented production environments.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure live broadcast settings.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with multiple technical teams.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts as required by broadcast schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Tagboard systems for both remote and facility-based productions.
  • Maintain the production and technical Tagboard infrastructure within the Remote Broadcast Center.
  • Operate Shotcall systems for live and remote productions.
  • Maintain Shotcall production and technical infrastructure within the facility.
  • Support and maintain the production communications infrastructure within the RBC, including the Riedel Director intercom system.
  • Work with audio, engineering, and IT teams to optimize intercom systems and monitoring workflows.
  • Provide support coverage for audio colleagues during live broadcasts as needed.
  • Document and report any technical issues or operational improvements following broadcasts.
  • Prepare, test, and manage graphics elements to ensure accurate and smooth on-air presentation.
  • Build source graphics using internal broadcast software (including Barracks).
  • Execute graphics calls during live broadcasts in coordination with the production team.
  • Monitor scoring and maintain leaderboard graphics during live matches.
  • Coordinate with departments such as Audio and EVS to ensure replay packages contain correct graphics and cues.
  • Deliver graphics outputs for different broadcast feeds, sponsors, and departments.
  • Assist in developing efficient graphics workflows and documentation.
  • Prepare graphics packages and assets for upcoming broadcasts.
  • Ingest and organize media for replay and highlights workflows.
  • Route broadcast sources through internal routing systems.
  • Capture in-game moments and build replay packages in real time.
  • Create halftime and post-match highlight packages.
  • Monitor incoming feeds into EVS or vMix systems.
  • Collaborate with Media Asset Management teams to share and export clips as required.
  • Assist in producing melts, recaps, and highlight packages for future broadcasts.
  • Load and manage audio assets including stings, idents, and other broadcast elements.
  • Configure audio sources through routing systems and broadcast consoles.
  • Configure Riedel Director panels for production teams.
  • Monitor and maintain broadcast audio levels to meet industry loudness standards.
  • Coordinate with graphics, replay, and production teams to ensure audio sync across packages and segments.
  • Provide tailored audio support for production teams, including assisting with in-ear monitors and microphones when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with audio copyright standards for streaming platforms.
  • Review audio for highlight packages and next-day broadcast materials.
  • Prepare systems and broadcast assets for upcoming productions.
  • Document issues, improvements, and operational notes following broadcasts.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows, systems, and production processes.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues across the team.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
