About The Position
WAND-TV in Decatur, Illinois, is looking for a Broadcast Engineer to assist with critical operations at our facility. One year of experience as a Broadcast Engineer or relevant coursework is required. Further training is available for the right candidate with a strong basis of technical knowledge and a desire to advance their skills through on-site training and occasional classes or seminars.
Requirements
- One year of experience as a Broadcast Engineer or relevant coursework.
- Self-motivated and flexible to work a varied schedule.
- Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and be on-call as necessary.

- Strong basis of technical knowledge.
- Desire to advance their skills through on-site training and occasional classes or seminars.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance, installation, and repair of all electronic equipment as well as office equipment.
- Troubleshoot at a component level for electrical equipment, computers, and computerized systems.
- Assist with building and grounds maintenance when needed.
