About The Position

Supervisory, professional and technical work managing and operating public affairs television for the New Orleans City Council which includes the broadcasting of meetings of the City Council, Council Committees and other public agencies. Work includes assisting in the development and production of programs and video content for government and education access channels; and related work as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Television Production, Communications, or a related field AND four years of progressively responsible experience in video broadcast media or television production.
• OR A High School Diploma or GED issued by a state department of education AND eight years of progressively responsible experience in video broadcast media or television production.
