About The Position

Arvig is seeking a Broadband/Telecom Installation Technician to serve as the face of Arvig in Grand Meadow. This role involves installing, testing, and repairing broadband, internet, TV, and phone services for residential and local business customers. The technician will run wiring, set up routers/Wi-Fi equipment, troubleshoot technical issues on-site, and educate customers on their services and equipment. This position requires working independently in the field with support from senior team members.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of customer in customer facing roles
Experience operating hand tools and troubleshooting electronics, computers, routers, streaming devices or apps
Be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to effectively communicate and educate customers on company products and functions
Structure and organized

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a technical field position
Basic knowledge of telecommunication equipment and installation

Responsibilities

Safely install, test, and repair broadband, internet, TV, and phone services for residential and local business customers
