Broadband Project Manager Company Overview Vantage Point Solutions is a leading engineering and consulting firm serving telecommunications providers across the United States. We partner with broadband and utility clients to plan, design, and implement advanced communications networks that connect communities and drive economic growth. Position Summary The Broadband Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of broadband infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages schedules and budgets, and serves as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure successful deployment of fiber and broadband network solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience managing broadband, fiber, telecommunications, or utility infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated experience with outside plant (OSP) design and construction processes
• Strong project scheduling and budgeting skills
• Excellent client-facing communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with rural broadband or grant-funded deployment programs (e.g., BEAD, RDOF)
• Knowledge of fiber network architecture (FTTH, middle mile, backhaul)
• Familiarity with permitting and right-of-way processes

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple broadband and fiber deployment projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, engineering teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Coordinate permitting, easements, and regulatory compliance activities
• Oversee design, construction, and implementation phases of broadband network projects
• Track project progress, risks, and issues; implement mitigation strategies as needed
• Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, and client communications
• Ensure documentation, records, and closeout packages are complete and accurate
• Support procurement and contractor management activities
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality requirements
