About The Position

Bridge Steel Fabrication Experience Only, US Citizens Only Bridge Fabrication Project Manager oversees structural steel and component manufacturing for bridge infrastructure from contract award to final delivery. They manage budgets, schedules, quality compliance (such as AISC and AWS standards), and technical coordination for complex elements like girders, trunnions, and movable spans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent heavy industrial experience).
• 5 to 10+ years in structural steel or heavy civil manufacturing, ideally with complex or movable bridge components.
• US Citizens Only

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• AISC certifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural steel and component manufacturing for bridge infrastructure from contract award to final delivery.
• Manage budgets, schedules, quality compliance (such as AISC and AWS standards), and technical coordination for complex elements like girders, trunnions, and movable spans.
• Track budgets, schedules, status reports, and forecasts.
• Review shop drawings, welding procedures, and non-destructive testing (NDT/NDE) requirements.
• Interface with detailers, shop production teams, QA/QC inspectors, engineers, and erectors.
• Ensure adherence to AISC certification guidelines, AASHTO specifications, and state Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
