About The Position

Responsible for instructional and general duties as indicated by the Bridge Program Coordinator. Works with students in a small group setting as needed, providing support to students' individual needs. Maintains a record of assignments completed by students.

Requirements

• Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education required.
• Knowledge of middle school philosophy, organization, and curriculum.
• Understanding of the middle school student and his/her early adolescent needs.
• Knowledge of recommended middle school instructional practices.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
• Enjoys working with middle school students.
