About The Position

STV currently has openings for a Bridge Inspection Team Leader in the Transportation group in New York, New York. This role involves working as an integral part of the Bridge Practice in our Northeast bridge group, supporting the structural bridge design group on selected projects, and leading assigned tasks as appropriate. The position also requires working with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and project delivery, as well as assisting in maintaining the quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group. Support plan production by handling CAD layout and markups as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of bridge inspection experience
• NY and NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Active FHWA NHI Training Certification
• Experience for various agencies such as DOT, MTA, TBTA, PANYNJ
• Ability to plan and coordinate work efforts needed to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with staff and clients.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree is preferred but not required
