About The Position

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a Bridge Engineer position in our Richmond, VA office. This role involves leading the analysis, design, and detailing of local and state DOT bridge projects under the supervision of Senior level bridge engineers. Responsibilities may also include attending meetings and conferences, report preparation, field reconnaissance, and inspection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (with concentration in structural engineering) from an ABET Accredited College.
• 7 to 10 years of experience
• Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word & Excel
• Desire to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• EIT Certificate (or the ability to obtain within 12 months)
• PE License
• Experience with MicroStation, OpenBridge Modeler, AASHTOware, AutoCAD, and MathCAD
• Experience with VDOT and local government projects and their design software

Responsibilities
