About The Position

Multi-state design firm is seeking a Bridge Engineer for their team in Des Moines! This role is responsible for transportation/roadway project designs including grade separations, interchanges, and stream crossings. The engineer will collaborate with roadway traffic, geotechnical, and stormwater engineers on projects, manage projects from start to finish, assist with proposal and client development, and travel to job sites as needed. The position also involves growing and mentoring the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering
• 5+ years of experience
• PE License
• Experience with designing prestressed concrete/steel bridges and bridge analysis/design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, Lpile, SPColumn, MDX)
• Experience with MicroStation
• Proficient in AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ArDOT/KDOT/MoDOT Bridge Projects preferred
