About The Position

As a bridge design engineer, you’ll provide technical assistance and guidance for due diligence, investigation, remediation, improvement, and construction infrastructure projects. You`ll assist with the research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of load-bearing structures such as bridges, signs, walls, and transportation facilities. The bridge design engineer reports to the design manager. Yearly Salary Range $80,000-$150,000

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum four years of transportation engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCad, and Civil3D software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support on a variety of bridge projects.
  • Lead successful delivery of high-quality projects within budget and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with others and lead transportation and bridge teams in all aspects of bridge analysis and design, from conceptual planning and preliminary design to final design and construction.
  • Identify, creative and innovative engineering solutions based on client, project, and site constraints.
