About The Position

AECOM is looking for a Bridge Design Engineer II to enhance the capabilities of AECOM's regional bridge team being based in AECOM's Denver, CO. office. This position is an opportunity to work within a well-established group offering diverse projects, technical challenges, and career development opportunities. Need to be able to perform work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Bachelor’s degree in civil (Structural) engineering.
• 2+ years of bridge design experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree a plus
• Experience with related project work with Colorado DOT / City of Denver, etc.
• Knowledge of 3D finite element software such as CSiBridge, MIDAS, SAP2000, etc.
• Railroad bridge design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contract drawings, technical specifications, design calculations, technical reports, and construction cost estimates.
• Perform existing bridge inspection, and condition assessment, and develop rehabilitation strategies.
