About The Position

The Bridge Cloud Developer serves as a key technical expert responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing cloud service delivery models and solutions across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in advancing the organization's adoption of Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS). The Bridge Cloud Developer will drive cloud innovation, efficiency, and secure operations by designing robust architectures, leading solution development, and supporting organizational transformation efforts aligned with best practices in security and compliance. The incumbent leverages deep technical expertise and strategic insight to enable the migration, modernization, and continuous improvement of cloud-based and hybrid environments. This position requires a proven leader capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into technical solutions, and delivering cloud initiatives that support enterprise goals and long-term IT advancement. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (required).
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in cloud engineering or related technical roles.
Expert-level understanding of AWS cloud platform and service offerings.
Demonstrated expertise in DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes; AWS EKS experience preferred.
Proven experience implementing and managing zero-trust security architectures within cloud environments.
Proficiency in scripting and automation languages, including Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Solid understanding of network security principles and use of cloud-native security tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver large-scale cloud migration and optimization projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with capability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Experience developing and implementing cloud governance policies and security frameworks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures is a plus.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.

Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

AWS EKS experience preferred.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cloud strategies by providing expert guidance on complex architectures and systems.
Drive efficiency improvements across multiple work streams, optimizing processes and utilization of cloud resources.
Develop and implement cost optimization strategies to ensure maximum value from the organization’s cloud landscape.
Provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses for cloud, multi-cloud, and on-premises services.
Manage policies for cloud service usage and new technology requests to maintain a secure and compliant cloud environment.
Ensure high availability and optimal uptime for cloud services through effective architectural design.
Work independently to design and develop new cloud software products or significant enhancements to existing software.
Debug cloud stacks and effectively manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance and reliability.
Implement and maintain zero-trust architecture within cloud environments to ensure robust security postures.
Analyze, lead, and execute the development and implementation of cloud applications, including migration of legacy on-premises applications to the cloud.
