About The Position
The Bric-A-Brac Supervisor supervises and participates in receiving, sorting, pricing, packaging, and distributing merchandise. The role ensures merchandise is processed efficiently and promptly in compliance with established policies and procedures. It also ensures sorting activities support maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality control, and serves as a liaison to store personnel so stores receive needed merchandise.
Requirements
- Six months of experience sorting and pricing merchandise in a retail environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Some supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and participate in receiving, sorting, pricing, packaging, and distributing merchandise.
- Ensure merchandise is processed efficiently and in a timely manner, following established policies and procedures.
- Ensure sorting activities support maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality control.
- Liaise with store personnel to ensure stores receive the merchandise they need.
