BRI Supporting GIS Specialist
About The Position
The BRI Supporting GIS Specialist will be responsible for developing dashboards for data entry, data sharing, and spatially-explicit decision support tools for land management for the Institute. This coordination effort will involve working with a team of research scientists, faculty, and staff for the various programs at BRI. This position is classified as Security-Sensitive and is thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code §51.215 and Texas Government Code §411.094, which authorize employers to obtain and review criminal history record information for applicants. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times. Any qualifications to be considered in lieu of stated minimums require the prior approval of the Human Resources Director.
