About The Position
The Brewing Opportunities Intern will learn and utilize skills related to building and managing a social enterprise. This experience will be delivered through the operation of a coffee cart that serves customers in the Greater Richmond region. This position requires collaboration with the Manager of Career Readiness and Employment, the Career Readiness and Employment team, and the Director of Programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Career Readiness and Employment Internship graduate
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
Responsibilities
- Learn business planning skills such as budgeting, marketing, and licensure
- Obtain ServSafe Food Handler certification through online course
- Perform customer service tasks at a high level
- Brew and serve Afterglow coffee and other related products
- Use a Point of Sale system for customer transactions
