About The Position

Six Pints Collective is currently seeking a Brewing Operator Technician to be part of our Brewing Team based at our Brewery in Creemore, ON! Reporting to the Line Lead - Brewing, Creemore Springs, the role is at the heart of what the brewery is all about. It is the hard work and attention to detail at this point in the process that ensures there is beer of the highest quality, prepared in the correct amounts, within the specified timelines. Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher education degree.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing facility, including but not limited to breweries, be process oriented, and mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Ticketed trade (i.e. Stationary Engineer or Millwright).
  • DZ license.
  • Brewing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Following established brewhouse operating procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Monitoring processes using routine QC checks to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Ability to troubleshoot when results are out of range or specification.
  • Yeast collection and preparation for brewing requirements.
  • Preparing tanks using established cleaning and sanitizing procedures, ensuring on time availability for brewers.
  • Housekeeping of cellars work area and monitoring of required sanitation supply inventories.
  • Following established filtration procedures to ensure proper volumes are available at appropriate times with all parameters within specified targets for packaging operations.
  • Soft maintenance of filtration equipment.
  • Good house-keeping practices in work area.
  • Maintaining the production areas in accordance with SOPs.
