About The Position

City Brewery has an immediate opening for a brewing associate. This position is responsible for operating various manual and automated manufacturing equipment within the Brewing Department. You will be responsible for doing so safely and efficiently while ensuring consistent quality is delivered for our customers. This position will work closely with fellow operations from team members, electro-mechanics, and electricians.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be 18 years old.
Proficient in Microsoft office suite
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, self-managed team environment.
Highly motivated, self-directed worker that can work autonomously in a fast-paced and often loud food production environment.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Effective analytical, problem-solving and organization skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with operating a forklift preferred.
Previous experience in food or beverage manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Manually batch dry and liquid ingredients.
Operation of pumps, valves, and sequences.
Performance of basic laboratory testing and data recording.
Loading and unloading of tanker trucks and completion of necessary paperwork in compliance with FDA regulations.
Perform tank and line cleanings using a CIP system.
General cleaning following a master sanitation scheduled with use of chemicals and pressure hoses.
Troubleshoot systems and procedures as needed.
Follow all good manufacturing practices and HAACP guidelines.
Safely perform all work tasks; wear all required PPE.
Once qualified, will be required to train incoming operators.
Forklift operation for materials.
Ensure safety procedures are followed by adherence to company policies.
Perform additional responsibilities and other tasks as assigned.
