Brewery Store Associate (Venice)
About The Position
The Brewery Store Associate will work in our brewery store at our Venice Beach location which serves as a haven for the ultimate craft beer connoisseur who seeks to delve deeper into the world of beer. The store is our dedication to the art of craft beer through a robust offering of higher-end products and experience with Firestone Walker. The Associate provides a welcoming and educational experience to guests with the ability to impact knowledge of brewing, products, and beer in general. They should be a conduit for education and enjoyable atmosphere that employs the Destination Venice theme.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of beer and brewing in general and specifically knowledge of Firestone Walkers beers
- Ability to follow all ABC laws
- Ability to create a fun, high energy environment
- Ability to make customers feel welcome and relaxed
- Ability to fill growlers properly and efficiently
- Ability to divulge correct information about each beer served
- Ability to greet each customer as they enter the store
- Ability to process cash and credit card transactions through POS system
- Ability to reconcile the cash/credit drawer at the end of the day
- Ability to complete opening and closing tasks correctly and efficiently
- Ability to constantly straighten retail items so they appear aesthetically appealing to the customer
- Ability to stock and replenish retail items including beer and merchandise
- Ability to change kegs as needed for beer tastings
- Ability to properly clean and maintain the draught system
Responsibilities
- Provide inventory management using our POS system to include planning and stocking
- Complete front and back end operations
- Provide excellent customer service including educating and informing customers on our beer, history and products for sale
- Maintain a working knowledge of beer and brewing in general and specifically knowledge of Firestone Walkers beers
- Maintains order and cleanliness at all times
- Follows all ABC laws
- Create a fun, high energy environment
- Make customers feel welcome and relaxed
- Fill growlers as needed for customers and ensure they are filled properly and efficiently
- Divulge the correct information to the customer about each beer served
- Greet each customer as they enter the store
- Process cash and credit card transactions through POS system
- Reconcile the cash/credit drawer at the end of the day
- Complete opening and closing tasks correctly and efficiently
- Constantly straighten retail items so they appear atheistically appealing to the customer
