About The Position

Brewers handle tasks associated with beer production, including ordering brewing materials, monitoring fermentation and other production-critical processes, maintaining clear and organized records, and monitoring and forecasting beer usage. They control conditions affecting production, such as temperature, cleanliness, sanitation, and the proper storage and handling of hazardous chemicals and compressed gases. Brewers also maintain tools and equipment and use devices involved in beer production. The position can involve hard physical work and requires mental agility, multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Previous brewing experience or education is required.
• A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Order materials used in the brewing process.
• Analyze and monitor beer fermentation cycles and other aspects critical to beer production.
• Maintain clear, legible, and organized records.
• Monitor and forecast beer usage.
• Control production conditions, including temperature, cleanliness, sanitation, and proper storage and handling of hazardous chemicals and compressed gases.
• Keep tools and equipment functional and well maintained.
• Use devices implemented in beer production.
