As a Production Brewer you will be accountable for all aspects of wort production, cellar activities, clarifying beer, and more.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or coursework in a science discipline or engineering is desirable, or equivalent years of experience
2 years of brewing experience as assistant brewer or brewer preferred; knowledge of practices, methods, tools, and equipment used in production and pub-style brewing
General knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions associated with work
Ability to follow oral and written instructions including interpret technical bulletins and schematics on equipment related to work
Shift flexibility to work mornings, afternoons or weekends as needed
Must be 21-years of age or older

Professional brewing certificate preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for following SOPs while maintaining high quality standards in all areas of beer production
Ability to multitask and perform all aspects of the department (brewhouse, cellar, filtration, blending)
Troubleshoot issues during operation
Follow all safety and policy processes throughout the brewery
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and presentable work environment
Display a positive attitude and works well with others in a team environment
Organization and record keeping
