About The Position
Responsible for all general labor duties supporting the breeder farm management team. This includes picking up and grading eggs, collecting eggs and updating reports, placing eggs in trays, walking and inspecting houses, performing minor mechanical work, and monitoring/adjusting illumination, temperature, and ventilation systems as instructed. Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must use safe lifting techniques.
- Must regularly stoop/bend down to collect eggs repeatedly.
- Must regularly lift and/or move, up to 20 pounds.
- Must regularly stand and walk majority of shift; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; climbing/ladder usage.
- Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and also work in hot, dry, dusty, wet, icy, snowy and cold environments.
- Personal Protective Equipment Required.
- Team member is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
