About The Position

The Breast Trimmer is responsible for trimming and processing poultry breast meat according to Tyson Foods quality, safety, and production standards. Team members inspect products for defects, remove excess fat, cartilage, and other unwanted material, and ensure finished products meet customer specifications while maintaining line efficiency. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times. This facility accepts rehires after 365 days. Certain roles at Tyson require background checks. Responsibilities

  • Trim poultry breast meat using knives, scissors, or other approved tools.
  • Remove excess fat, cartilage, bruises, bones, feathers, and other defects from products.
  • Inspect products for quality and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Maintain production rates and meet established performance standards.
  • Follow all food safety, quality assurance, animal welfare, and USDA regulations.
  • Operate safely around processing equipment and moving production lines.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with sanitation requirements.
  • Report equipment issues, product concerns, and safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Assist with other production-related tasks as assigned.
